The sales are starting as quilt shops and fabric stores start clearing room for next season's inventory. I love my LQS's, though I also like to watch online stores like fabric.com where you can get great deals if they have excess inventory (plus coupons for more discounts).

We try to call attention to popular modern fabrics here on the forum, such as when Farmdale hit fabric.com and was sold out quickly, but I always check these links once a week for my favorites that hit the virtual discount rack:
