Default Pleated Tote Tutorial

I used this tutorial by Artsy-Craftsy Babe and it's really good! I'm new to bag making and this one turned out cute and it wasn't difficult. Recommended!

The fabric is Daisy Chain in Basil by Amy Butler and two mystery Kona solids from my stash for the lining and handles.

There are more pictures on my blog.

Very cute! I'm usually so uninspired to make anything that isn't a quilt, but I really need something that isn't a diaper bag to put my stuff in--I think I might give this a go. Thanks for sharing

Thanks!! : ) I know what you mean. I've had serious quilt tunnel vision over the last 18 months. I'm just starting to come out of it.

Moms need cute bags too!! I love that since you're making it yourself you can customize the pockets. I'm out of the diaper stage, but I have to carry around extra underwear and pants because we're potty training. Argh!!! Luckily, it's big enough for that. I was carrying it around this weekend and it's really a comfortable shape. I see more in my future. : )
