Default Hello - My name is ALLISON and I have a huge problem

I am totally, 100% addicted to fabric. New releases, older releases, blue, red, pink, green, vintage, not-so-vintage - if it's fabric, I love it!

Ok - maybe it's not a huge problem because my fabric collection makes me so happy

I am a SAHM to 4 year old twins and in my old life I was the controller for a sex toy company (the names my family gave me... oy) and a financial analyst for a Fortune 500.

These days - I am trying to re-do the basement in our (recently purchased) home so that my fabric shall never be subjected to an ounce of 'yuck'.

I am also a co-founder (meaning - we work our tails off but co-founder sounds much better than I do whatever needs doing!) of a website called seamedup.com It's pretty cool - we have big visions of what it can be. We have come a long way but we ain't there yet. It has been really fun to work with someone I have never met - isn't the internet neato?

I am trying to raise my kids (boy/girl) to be a friend and make a friend. To stop yelling at each other so much. To put their dirty clothes in the laundry basket all by themselves! big dreams.

Happy to have come across Talk About Fabric because, well, like I said, I love fabric!

Hi!
My name is Tiffany. Its great to meet you. You sound like a very fun person. congrats on your internet venture! I love fabric and I am lucky to live in San Francisco where there is one of the most amazing stores, Britex. Your store is pretty cool too. You are probably having a lot of fun in your venture. It sounds like the perfect job for someone who love fabric.
I hope you have have lots of luck. I too am working on making a website. It should be up by February 1. I am making a line of patterns for beginner sewers with different body types. You and I have a lot in common and I'm excited to meet you.

Tiffany
